§ Mr. BoswellApproximately two thirds of the Department's budget relates to England, including research and development, flood defence, agri-environment schemes, hill livestock compensatory 623W allowances and departmental administration. The remainder of MAFF's budget relates to Great Britain—notably animal health work—or to the whole of the United Kingdom, principally support to the rendering and slaughterhouse industries.
