§ Lord HenleyHer Majesty's Government would expect all good employers not to include an arbitrary age range in their advertisements. They are convinced that the best way to combat age discrimination in employment is through persuasion and education. Her Majesty's Government do not intend to introduce legislation to eliminate job vacancy advertisements designating age limits.
