§ Mr. Robert B. JonesEvaluation of my Department's Wasting Energy Costs the Earth domestic energy efficiency campaign, of which the energy efficiency voucher scheme formed a part, is expected to be complete by mid-December.
The energy efficiency voucher scheme and associated promotions have formed an integral part of a wider drive to increase the level of energy efficiency awareness among domestic consumers and to encourage the purchase of energy efficiency goods. We are continuing this work through the Energy Saving Trust, and have recently announced an extra £21.5 million in its allocation over the next three years to enable it to pursue it.
