§ Mr. SoamesWe are not aware of any international conventions stipulating a liability on Her Majesty's Government in the event of a Royal Navy submarine accidentally colliding with an oil industry installation. In the highly unlikely event of such an incident occurring, liability for compensation would be determined on the basis of the particular circumstances of the incident.
