To what extent can hyperactivity and other behavioural problems be traced to food and food ingredients.The Food Advisory Committee has also recently requested that a review of the scientific literature on links between hyperactivity and food or food additive intolerance be conducted. This work is being carried out by the Department of Health's Committee on Toxicity of Chemicals in Food, the Environment and Consumer Products.
