§ Mrs. BrowningThe rabies provisions of the Balai directive—EC directive 92/65—including those provisions for the movement of traded dogs and cats into the UK and Ireland from other member states, we agreed taking into account the Scientific Veterinary Committee report VI/1533/92-EN-Rev.1. Although not identical to the recommendations in this report, these provisions represent the safeguards the Council of Ministers agreed were necessary to reduce the risks that it identified.
