HC Deb 16 April 1996 vol 275 c374W
Mrs. Dunwoody

To ask the Attorney-General if he will list the cases of fraud involving medical research studies in the United Kingdom in each of the last 10 years, and the costs to public funds of prosecuting them. [24481]

The Attorney-General

The Crown Prosecution Service does not maintain a central record enabling all cases of the description given by the hon. Member to be identified. The information sought could be obtained only by a scrutiny of all CPS files over the past 10 years and would involve disproportionate cost.
