To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what are his Department's proposals for section 11 funding for 1996–97; and if he will make a statement. [24960]

With the exception of a very small number of projects which reached the end of their planned life on 31 March, all approved projects have continued into the 1996–97 financial year. Notifications of allocations for 1996–97 were issued to all grant recipients on 26 February. The figures included adjustments to reflect the fact that there have been movements in costs.
