To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment if she will list the membership of the business and Education board of the Devon and Cornwall training and enterprise council since 1987 by(a) name, (b) dates of birth and (c) remuneration given. [24648]

Membership of the main board and training and enterprise council area boards of Devon and Cornwall TEC is listed in the annual review report of the TEC, which was established in 1990. Board directors are appointed within the eligibility criteria set out in the Department's contract with the TEC. The appointments are made by the TEC. No remuneration is given. The hon. Member will need to contact the TEC for the further information that he seeks about the dates of birth of board directors.
