Whether they will state for each year from 1950 to 1995 inclusive.

  1. (a) Central government current revenue;
  2. (b) Central government current expenditure;
  3. (c) Local government current revenue;
  4. (d) Local government current expenditure; expressing each as a percentage of GDP.

The attached table shows spending and revenue as a percentage of GDP on a national accounts definition for central government and local government.

The data necessary to calculate these proportions are only available back to 1955 and up to Q3 1995.
