§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe latest available figure for 1995 is from the national health service central register for the 12 months ending September which shows some 52,500 people previously registered in England as having registered with an NHS doctor in Wales. This count excludes armed forces personnel and any others not registered with an NHS doctor.
