Whether they will state for each year from 1950 to 1995 inclusive capital spending as a percentage of—

  1. (a) Central government spending;
  2. (b) Local government spending;
  3. (c) Total government spending.

The attached table shows capital spending as a proportion of total spending on a national accounts definition for central government, local authorities and general government.

The data necessary to calculate these proportions are available only back to 1963 and up to Q3 1995.
