§ Mr. HoramWe are still considering the best way to take forward the report of the renal review, and intend to issue guidance on purchasing renal services to health authorities in due course. This would include information on the numbers of people who received renal dialysis in each region. Information on the numbers of people who need renal dialysis is not available centrally; however, guidance has been issued to health authorities on how to carry out a needs assessment of their populations for renal disease.
