§ Mr. McMasterTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what are the procedures for dismissing the chairman and chief executive of Scottish Homes. [39187]
Mr. RobertsonSchedule 1, paragraph 5(3) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 sets out the circumstances in which my right hon. Friend may remove a member of the Scottish Homes board—other than the chief executive—from office. A decision to terminate the appointment of the chief executive would be a matter for the Scottish Homes board.
