To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security how many employees of the Child Support Agency since 1993 have been(a) dismissed, and (b) faced other disciplinary action for the improper use of confidential information. [39930]

I am replying to your Parliamentary Question to the Secretary of State for Social Security on the improper use of confidential information.

You requested details regarding the number of employees of the Child Support Agency, since 1993, who have either been dismissed from employment or faced other disciplinary action for the improper use of confidential information.

The figures are as follows:

  • (a) 8 dismissals
  • (b) 10 other disciplinary action
