To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what changes he proposes to make in his Department's diplomatic wing cash limits for 1995–96. [40634]

§ Mr. Hanley
Subject to parliamentary approval of the necessary supplementary estimate, the following changes will be madeThe cash limit for class II, vote 2—other external relations—will be increased by £80,001,000 from £211,632,000 to £291,633,000. The increase is in respect of contributions by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for international peacekeeping. The increase will be charged to the reserve and will not therefore add to the planned total of public expenditure.
