§ Mr. HanleyWe are currently providing bilateral emergency aid through non-governmental organisations and UN agencies for seeds and tools, primary health, humanitarian de-mining, food supply and distribution, demobilisation and logistic support—in addition to our share of EC assistance for similar activities. Children are among the most vulnerable groups in Angola who benefit under many of these interventions. Our longer-term development aid is focused on English language training and a fund to support NGO long-term rehabilitation projects.
