HC Deb 25 October 1995 vol 264 cc652-3W
Mr. Bayley

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are the ratios which determine the division of public expenditure on health care, education and housing between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; and how these have changed in the last five years. [37998]

The division of public expenditure provision on health care, education and housing in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland is determined by the respective Secretaries of State. An analysis of general government expenditure on these and other services can be found in the "Statistical Supplement to the Financial Statement and Budget Report 1995–96".
