Mr. Norris

This is an operational matter for the Marine Safety Agency. I have asked the chief executive to write to the hon. Member.

Letter from R. M. Bradley to Mr. Martin Redmond, dated 25 October 1995: The Secretary of State for Transport has asked me to reply to your Question about whether the British—registered PRIDE OF BRUGES, PRIDE OF CHERBOURG, PRIDE OF HAMPSHIRE and PIONEER are now able to offer 100% dry-shod evacuation arrangements. The evacuation arrangements for these ferries remain as set out in my reply to Mr. Paul Flynn on 9 May (Official Report, vol 259 col 347).
