§ Mr. SquireThe information requested since the introduction of the standard spending assessment system in 1990–91 in West Sussex and English local education authorities as a whole is set out in the table. Welsh authorities are funded separately. The percentage figures take amount of local authority changes of functions, such as the transfer of responsibility for most further education to the Further Education Funding Council in 1993–94.
