To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how many students have chosen to exercise their right not to be a member of a students union following the enactment on 21 September 1994 of the Education Act 1994, section 22, subsection 2(c) relating to the rights of students; and from which institutions unions students have exercised this right.
