§ Mr. NorrisMy right hon. Friend the Member for Peterborough (Dr. Mawhinney) asked for a study on several aspects of the crossrail project, including its structure and ownership under the railway privatisation arrangements, the central London employment forecasts on which the case for it depends and the advantages and disadvantages of possible small-scale alternatives to it. I will consider how best to inform hon. Members of the results of the study when it has been completed and I have had an opportunity to consider it.
