§ Mr. SoamesThe total annual security costs for 1994–95 for Faslane were £15,400,000 for personnel and £500,000 for maintenance of security equipment and infrastructure. For Coulport they were £12,900,000 and £1,200,000 respectively. Additionally, there was a total cost of £2,100,000 for Royal Marines covering both sites; this figure cannot be readily allocated to individual bases.
