§ Mr. SackvilleIt is Government policy that all non-departmental public bodies should be reviewed after five years in existence. The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority held its first meeting on 4 October 1990 and became fully operational on 1 August 1991. A full review of the authority by the Department of Health has started. A copy of the terms of reference has been placed in the Library.
