§ Mr. ArbuthnotDefence diversification is a matter for individual companies. It is for them and not for Government to decide what industry should produce, and how to respond to changing markets. My Department's role is to keep companies as well informed as possible about our future requirements to enable them to make soundly based commercial decision about their future strategy.
