§ Mrs. GillanThe most recent figures available for England are in respect of the position in January 1994. I refer the hon. Member to the reply that my hon. Friend gave the hon. Member for St. Ives (Mr. Harris) on 9 December 1994,Official Report, column 410–14, which gave for each local education authority the total number of unfilled places in schools where the number of places is greater than the number of pupils. Figures from the 1995 survey are currently being processed.
