To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment when she will publish the review of the school premises regulations announced by her predecessor on 2 October 1990 and cited in "DES News", 318/90.

The Under-Secretary, my hon. Friend the Member for Hornchurch (Mr. Squire), outlined the conclusion of the review in a parliamentary announcement on 14 July 1995,Official Report, columns 829–837. Those conclusions are very fully explained in the draft School Premises Regulations and the accompanying draft circular that are currently out to consultation.
