§ Mr. BaldryThere have been a number of recent studies which examined the levels of hydrocarbons and taint in fish. These show some evidence that oil residues are present but no evidence of taint. There are no dangers to cod, haddock or plaice stocks in the North sea arising from drilling wastes.
