§ Mr. BowisAs at 31 March 1994 in England, there were 17,600 residential care homes for adults registered with local authorities and 5,100 nursing homes registered152W with health authorities. A number of homes may be registered for both residential and nursing care under the terms of the Registered Homes Act 1984.
§ Mr. RowlandsTo ask the Secretary of State for Health what estimate his Department has made of the average gross and net profits made by private residential and nursing homes. [37018]
