To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland which external bodies, bodies and individuals have been consulted to date in the drafting process of(a) the proposed Race Relations Order and (b) the proposed Contracting Out and Deregulation Order (Northern Ireland) 1995. [37390]

We have not yet reached the drafting process stage in relation to the proposed Race Relations Order and accordingly no formal consultation has taken place.

In advance of publication of the proposals for a Deregulation and Contracting Out (Northern Ireland) Order, an extensive number of bodies and individuals was consulted. On publication of the proposals, a number of additional bodies are individuals received copies. A full list of consultees has been placed in the Library.
