§ Mr. EggarAs of 3 October 1995, my Department's Invest in Britain Bureau was aware of 100 Japanese companies engaged in some form of research, development and/or design—RD and D—in the United Kingdom. A full list of these companies with details of their RD and D activities and their locations within the United Kingdom is being placed in the Library of the House.
