With the exception of my Department's funding of the late filing penalties scheme administered by the Companies House agency, no contributions have been made to its or the Radiocommunications Agency annual running costs in the past three years. This is because Companies House was established as an off-vote trading fund in October 1991, and the Radiocommunications Agency has retained its income to offset against its running cost expenditure since becoming a net controlled agency in April 1990. The Office of Fair Trading is independent of my Department. It is not funded from the DTI's vote. The information requested in respect of (5) and (6) is set out in the table: Disaggregated figures for (4) are not available.
