§ Mr. NorrisThe legislation for which my Department had responsibility contains provisions for the repeal or amendment of other enactments in the usual way. The following Acts provide power, exercisable by statutory instrument, to modify or exclude the application of enactments contained in primary legislation:
- The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 (section 2)
- The Road Traffic Act 1991 (sections 23, 27, 76, 77 and Schedule 3)
- The New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (section 102)
- The Transport and Works Act 1992 (section 5)
- The Finance Act 1993 (section 21)
- The Railways Act 1993 (section 153)
- The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (section 33).
