§ Mr. MeacherTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish hourly and weekly wage rates for 1992 and 1995 together with the percentage change between the two, according to data from the "New Earnings Survey" deflated by the retail prices index, for(a) full-time manual men on adult rates, (b) full-time non-manual men on adult rates, (c) full-time manual women on adult rates, (d) full-time non-manual women on adult rates and (e) full-time men and women on adult rates, giving the figures for 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, and 90th percentiles and the mean in each case. § Mrs. Angela Knight[holding answer 24 November 1995]: The 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th and 90th percentiles and the mean for the categories requested are published in part 456W A, table 1 of the "New Earnings Survey", for 1992 and 1995. To compare data for the two years in question the retail prices index, all items, should be used. This information is published in the "Central Statistical Office Business Monitor" MM23.
