§ Sir Paul BeresfordFollowing the efficiency scrutiny of public sector research establishments and the Government response, Cm 2991, a prior options review of the health and safety laboratory is now under way. The review is being led by HSE's chief scientist, Dr. J. McQuaid. It is due to be completed by March 1996.
