§ Mr. HanleyWe have recently conducted an assessment of the impact on the British economy of that overseas aid procurement which is tied to purchase of British goods. The assessment concluded that the overall impact was very small. The United Kingdom will remain at the forefront of efforts to encourage untying on a multilateral basis.
