The Home Secretary has asked me to reply to your recent Question asking how many prison officers have been given custodial sentences for drugs offences in each year since 1990, broken down by type of offence.The Prison Service has no record of any prison officer receiving a custodial sentence for drugs offences in any of the years in question.
