HC Deb 22 November 1995 vol 267 c226W
Mr. Mullin

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what procedures are followed by the Government for making available to(a) the House and (b) the public the texts of treaties under the EU third pillar procedures, after there has been agreement as to their content; and how soon after such agreement it is intended to make them available in printed published form. Miss Widdecombe

The Government aim to deposit in the Library copies of unclassified documents which have been adopted or agreed by the Council of Ministers. The texts of conventions concluded in the third pillar are available to the public through theOfficial Journal of the European Communities, in which they are published after signature. The Government publish the texts of international agreements as command papers for presentation to Parliament as soon as possible after signature.
