HC Deb 22 November 1995 vol 267 c116W
Mr. Lewis

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what proposals he has to amend provisions contained in the Clean Air Act 1993. [130]

Mr. Clappison

As announced in "Cutting Red Tape", published in January 1994, the Government intend to repeal sections 4 to 13 of the Clean Air Act 1993–formerly contained in the Clean Air Acts 1956 and 1968. They are no longer necessary in the light of changes in fuel use and the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
