What was the proportion of (a) male and (b) female teachers employed in primary and secondary schools in 1994, 1984 and 1974.

The readily available comparable information on the proportions of males and females among full-time teachers employed for service in maintained nursery, primary and secondary schools in the United Kingdom is shown in the table.
