Ms Harman

Mr. Malone

At 1 October 1994, there were 25,567 general practitioners in England—a record number. We are ensuring that general practice remains an attractive career, for example, by assisting doctors with their duties out-of- surgery hours and implementing the efficiency scrutiny on unnecessary paperwork.
