HC Deb 08 November 1995 vol 265 c952W
Mr. Thurnham

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment when she received the letter dated 27 October from the director general of the Shaw Trust about the potential of the trust to employ extra disabled people; what assessment she has made of offsetting flowbacks to the Treasury from the funding of such extra places; and if she will make a statement on what action she proposes to take following the receipt of the letter. [41374]

Mr. Forth

I have received no such letter. However, a letter on the subject to which my right hon. Friend refers was sent to Lord Henley, who received it on 30 October. He is considering it and will reply shortly.
