§ Mr. PaiceThe Secretary of State is aware that some parents who have exercised their right to educate their children otherwise than at school have sought places for them at further education colleges. It is for the individual FE college to determine whether or not to agree the placement, bearing in mind FEFC advice that pupils of compulsory school age should be admitted only in exceptional circumstances.
