To ask the President of the Board of Trade what was the total number of(a)Sheffield and (b) United Kingdom firms investing in the United States of America in each of the last three years; and if he will make a statement. [42163]

There is no central register of investments in the USA by Sheffield or other UK companies. To attempt to obtain this information could be done only at disproportionate cost to the Department.
