HC Deb 07 November 1995 vol 265 c841W
24. Mr. Simon Hughes

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what factors she has assessed as having the greatest impact on the levels of unemployment among(a) teenage women and (b) teenage men. [40123]

Mr. Forth

The acquisition of relevant qualifications and work-related skills, and the creation of a competitive, efficient and flexible labour market, are particularly important in keeping unemployment low among both teenage men and teenage women.
