To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will make a statement on the Arts Council's policy in respect of initiatives to support the Ulster Scots language. [42087]

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will propose to the Arts Council that it(a) takes steps to give symbolic recognition to the Ulster Scots language and (b) produces part of its annual report in that language. [42088]
