§ Mr. ClappisonThe Housing Corporation's lending and borrowing powers are now contained in the Housing Associations Act 1985. As at 31 October 1995, the outstanding principal on the corporation's lending to housing associations was £952.6 million. At the same date, the outstanding principal on Housing Corporation loans from the national loans fund was £942.6 million.
