§ Mr. KynochThe Government appreciate the value of our forests for access and recreation, and we have taken steps to strengthen the arrangements for making agreements to maintain public access to forests which are sold by the Forestry Commission. The commission will meet the local authorities' legal costs in drawing up these agreements.
