To ask the Chairman of the Accommodation and Works Committee what was the total cost of the recent refurbishment of catering facilities in the Palace of Westminster. [42011]

The contract value for the work undertaken this year to modernise the Members' and Strangers' cafeterias and kitchen and the Speaker's state kitchen is £1,600,000.
