To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many voluntary-aided schools there are in each of the Welsh counties; and if he will make a statement. [41251]

Mr. Richards

The number of voluntary-aided primary and secondary schools in each local education authority as at January 1995 is shown in the table. Details of school denomination are collected only for primary and secondary schools.

A bilingual consultation paper was issued on 31 October. Responses are requested by 24 November.
